Copycat Restaurant Style Breadsticks


Copycat Restaurant Breadsticks are garlicky, buttery, and amazing. Serve with your favorite pasta dishes, soups, or salads. Skip the crowds and cost with this tasty copycat recipe.


These Copycat Olive Garden Breadsticks have been a staple at my house for years. They don't take multiple hours to make and you don't even need a stand mixer or bread machine. 

One of my favorite ways to serve this is with my Baked Pasta.

How to Make Copycat Restaurant Style Breadsticks

Equipment: 
  • Measuring cup
  • Measuring spoons
  • Large and small mixing bowls
  • Mixing spoons
  • Baking sheet
Ingredients: 
  • Yeast
  • Sugar
  • Water
  • Salt
  • Flour
  • Butter
  • Garlic Powder

Copycat Restaurant Breadsticks are garlicky, buttery, and amazing. Serve with your favorite pasta dishes, soups, or salads.

Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 1/8 teaspoon yeast
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon melted butter or oil)
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • For the garlic butter:
  • 2 Tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions:
  1. Combine the water, yeast, and sugar in a mixing bowl. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes or until foamy
  2. Add the flour,butter or oil, and salt and stir well to combine
  3. Knead the dough for 5 minutes
  4. Divide the dough into 8 portions and form into breadsticks
  5. Place the dough on a greased cookie sheet, cover with plastic wrap, and let rest for 45 minutes
  6. Bake the breadsticks in a preheated 400 degree oven for 7 minutes
  7. While the breasticks bake make the garlic butter by combining the 2 Tablespoons of butter, salt, and garlic powder
  8. Remove the breadsricks from the oven and brush with garlic butter and bake for 8 more minutes
  9. Once the breadsticks are done brush with remaining garlic butter and serve
